  • The Central Board of Secondary Education has clarified that the Class 12 results will be declared in the third week of May. The CBSE on Wednesday dismissed as false the reports of some news portals which had mentioned technical glitches and delays in the declaration of Class 12 results and the Examination Controller Mr Sanyam Bhardwaj clarified that the result process under the on-screen marking system (OSM) is progressing as per schedule.
     
  • CBSE’s examination controller Sanyam Bhardwaj has also said that students can expect the results in the third week of May. Claims in media reports about the new system and technology are completely false in reality. He said that the evaluation process is going on even better than the previous evaluation.
  • Bhardwaj Ji said there were no issues and the board is   proud of the successful implementation of the OSM system’s . He also said that based on feedback from teachers, they were most satisfied with the system.
  • And many teachers are sending me selfies and messages saying that they are getting a chance to work with this system. Some teachers who were not assigned evaluation work are expressing their interest in participating in this process. It is worth noting that CBSE has announced the introduction of OMS for evaluation of Class 12 answer sheets in the 2026 board exams. Its aim is to make the evaluation process more transparent. The exams started on February 17. Every year, CBSE conducts exams in India and 26 other countries. Around 46 lakh students participate in it.
